Everyday Architect Design Studio transformed a narrow Bangkok shophouse into Soi Publishing Studio using slotted angle steel—a humble, familiar staple of everyday Thai spaces—as the core material.

The linear layout utilizes the original column grid to define functional zones: a front book display and lounge, a central work and meeting hub, and a rear storage section, with service spaces tucked away at the very back.

By layering different profiles of slotted angle steel, the design brings depth and utility across all scales—incorporating integrated desk-shelving units with indirect lighting, alongside custom details like door handles and light shades.
