The shophouse facades renovate project, showcase for Bangkok Design Week 2022, sponsored by Urban Ally.

We intentionally designed a lightweight steel frame for shophouse facade as the mask, which can be used to organize a new purpose such as billboards or varies types of signage, similar to a starting design template that supports many modifications for tenants of buildings that frequently change owner hands.

It is compulsory to leave openings for the windows to allow light and ventilation. Moreover, the function of the steel frame is to protect the original building structures, reduces surface area exposed to modifications which is difficult to prepare. Including strengthening the awning structure as well.
